A Little About Us...
Melissa Sheldon
Realtor® | Broker-in-Charge
Melissa brings 15 years of experience in the real estate world, starting in property management before expanding into buying and selling and launching Aura Realty. She also served 9 years in the U.S. Navy, an experience that shaped her strong sense of discipline and leadership.

She genuinely enjoys all parts of the industry—from touring homes and evaluating properties to helping clients navigate big decisions.
Melissa holds a Master’s Degree, is a Broker-in-Charge, and has earned both the Certified Community Manager (CAM) designation through the National Apartment Association and the Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) credential from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Tristan Sheldon
After nearly 10 years in the U.S. Navy—including 7 years with a specialized unit at Fort Bragg—Tristan transitioned into real estate and quickly took on leadership roles.
In a previous position, he directed teams and oversaw a portfolio of more than 2,000 residential properties, gaining large-scale management experience before co-founding Aura Realty, a boutique, client-focused firm. Today, he brings that same depth of knowledge to helping clients buy and sell homes with confidence and clarity.
Tristan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, a North Carolina Broker’s License, and earned multiple service medals, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
His commitment to service shows up in how he supports his clients—steady, responsive, and always focused on doing things the right way.

LPM supports clients through every stage of asset ownership, from tenant relations to vendor coordination, helping investors protect and grow the long-term value of their portfolios.
